A teenager from Ohio faces more than 70 charges in what is called a “swatting” incident from last year in Dodge County. Forty of the charges against the suspect are felonies. Swatting occurs when a call is placed to emergency responders aimed at getting an armed response to a location where there is no real emergency. The teenager’s name hasn’t been released. He was taken into custody in Youngstown, Ohio where officials say he is a suspect in similar incidents in several other states.
