Manitowoc Police are expected to have more to say later today about an incident on the city’s Southside that began as a structure fire in the 900 block of South 29th Street. Responding units were called to the scene yesterday afternoon and the MFRD made quick work of the fire. An ensuing police investigation lasted until early this morning and 29th, between Custer and Mero Streets was closed to traffic. No other information is being released at this time.
