According to Manitowoc County Emergency Services Director Travis Waack, the Manitowoc River is no longer at the flood stage.

There’s a Flood Warning this morning for high water on the Manitowoc River in and near the city of Manitowoc. According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay late last night, the Manitowoc River was at 13.2 feet, more than 3-feet above flood stage. Floodwaters have spread into locations near the river from Archer-to-Ellis Streets and several feet of water was covering Mills Street. Observers termed the flooding had increased from moderate to major severity.
