The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus, will be playing host to a Business Idea Workshop and Student Business Idea Contest on Tuesday, April 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Founders Hall, Room F149. The Business Idea Workshop begins at 6 p.m. and is open to the community. In less than half an hour, participants can learn how to structure a business idea into a communicative format. There will also be an opportunity to pitch a business idea, with the potential of a $100 cash prize.
The first UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus Student Business Idea contest will be held from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Manitowoc Campus students can apply for the contest by sending an email to KauthR@uwgb.edu by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 12. Manitowoc Campus students chosen to be contestants in the pitch contest will earn an automatic $50 if they pitch. Contestants will pitch their business idea to judges who will award up to $500 for first prize, $250 for second prize and $100 for third prize.
