It was a busy night for the Manitowoc Police Department as four people were arrested on various drug charges from three separate instances. The first occurred at around 5:15 PM, when a vehicle was pulled over after an officer noticed the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. A 39 year old woman was in the passenger seat and was found to be in possession of marijuana. She is facing charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and THC, a felony amount, as well as Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. The second set of arrests came at around 6:00 PM, when the Dispatch Center received word that two men may be dealing drug out of a car parked in the 1000 block of South 25th Street. Officers approached the vehicle, and the men exited. THC was found in the car, so they both were charged with Possession of THC with Intent to Deliver. The fourth arrest came at around 9:45 PM, when officers were called to the Econolodge on the 900 block of Washington Street. Hotel staff watched a man perform a hand to hand transaction with another individual who had entered the hotel. When officers approached the suspect, he took off, but was eventually captured. The 29 year old is now facing charges of Posession of THC 2nd or more Offense, and Felony Bail Jumping.
