Manitowoc Lincoln High School graduate Eric Fogltanz and his teammates at Iowa State University earned First Team All-America honors Friday with their 5th place finish in the Distance Medley Relay. The performance came at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama. Eric took the baton and ran a 46.92, the second-fastest split among the 400 runners. The Cyclones overall time was 9:33.86. It marked the final indoor meet for Fogltanz at Iowa State but, he still has two more outdoor seasons remaining. Eric is the son of Don & Mary Fogltanz.
