Manitowoc County Fish and Game Meeting Tonight

The Manitowoc Unit of Manitowoc County Fish & Game announced that its March meeting will be held at Lincoln Park, Cabin #1 on Thursday, March 7th at 7pm. Guest speaker for the evening will be Ann Shebesta, who is an area butterfly enthusiast.  The program will cover the life cycle, habitat needs including the nectar and host plant preferences of the Monarch Butterfly.  Attendees will be instructed on techniques used to grow their own plants, basic raising information, and other ways they can help the Monarch population thrive in their area. The Manitowoc Unit has over 110 years of service to conservation in Manitowoc County and members are reminded to renew their memberships for 2019.
