The WIAA boys basketball tournament resumes tonight with Sectional semifinal games being played in all 5-divisions. Ballgames of local and area interest find Roncalli meeting Howards Grove at New Holstein High School, Valders will battle Denmark at Chilton & Sheboygan Area Lutheran faces Hustisford, at Fond du lac. The division-4 top-ranked Jets & #3 Tigers are seeing each other for the second time in less than 3-weeks; Roncalli was a 57-37 winner back on February 18th. Tonight’s victor gets Milwaukee Academy of Science, which played last night and defeated The Prairie School 84-62. As for the all Viking battle in Division-3: Denmark at 20-4 and-Valders (13-10) met in the season opener in November and Denmark won 67-56.
An advance sale of tickets for the tournament games continues until Noon today at Roncalli High School for the Jets & Howards Grove and at Valders Middle & High School for the Vikings matchup.
