Four people have been charged for their connection to the death of a Preble High School Student. The incident occurred on February 22nd, when 21-year-old Jared C. Willette, 17-year-old Gavin Rock, 18-year-old Colton Kehoe, and 20-year-old Jarid Stevens picked up Federico Abarca to purchase THC vape cartridges, with the intent to rob the teen. Willquette was carrying a gun, a fact the others knew, and attempted to use it to get the cartridges for free, but Abarca attacked him with a knife, resulting in Abarca getting shot in the chest and dying from his injuries. All four men confessed to being involved in the incident, and each of them had their bond set at $500,000.
