DA Declines To Charge Teacher Accused Of Attacking Middle School Student

Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne says he doesn’t believe a crime was committed during an incident at Madison’s Whitehorse Middle School last month.  The D-A has declined to press charges against a teacher accused of physically attacking one of the students.  The mother of an 11-year-old girl says teacher Robert Mueller-Owens ripped out her daughter’s braids during an altercation in the hallway.  The girl’s family says the school and authorities were “unfair from the beginning.”
