A 30 vehicle pileup on the Leo Frigo Bridge in Green Bay is being blamed on a patch of ice. The DOT Traffic Camera footage shows a vehicle spinning out on some ice, causing the vehicles behind that vehicle to have to attempt to swerve and avoid striking the car. That stretch of I-43 was shut down in both directions for about four hours while crews cleaned up the car parts off the road. Several people reportedly received minor injuries including broken bones, but no one was seriously hurt. City buses were used to keep people warm while they waited for their turn to talk to officers on the scene, and a nearby McDonalds restaurants offered free coffee to the victims.
