Man Accused Of Punching Woman In Car, Then Shooting As She Drove Away

A 35-year-old Madison woman tells police a man punched her inside a car, then opened fire as she was driving away. The victim says she was knocked out Saturday at about 9:30 P-M. Thirty-seven-year-old Terrance Pearson is charged with reckless endangerment, substantial battery, disorderly conduct while armed and felony bail jumping. Officers say they found a shell casing at the scene. Pearson was found nearby with a loaded handgun.
