Manitowoc Man Arrested After Allegedly Throwing Items at His Wife

A 40-year-old Manitowoc man was taken into police custody late last night after his wife told police he was high on meth and had gotten physical with her. The woman called the police to her home in the 1400 block of South 14^th Street at around 11:20 PM, and was waiting for officers in her car. She told officers that her husband is a regular meth user, and threw things at her during a mood swing. The two share two children, both around the age of 18, and she removed them from the situation by bringing them to a friend’s house before contacting police.  The man was taken into police custody without incident and admitted that the pair had gotten into an argument, but would not comment on his alleged drug use. The man was charged with Disorderly Conduct-Domestic Violence Order.
