Paul Trambley is a meteorologist from Weatherology which serves all Seehafer Broadcasting Stations. Trambley says this is a “far cry from how the winter season began.”
Overnight lows Sunday and Monday will be anywhere from zero to 10 below with possible dangerous wind chills from 15 to 30 below zero. Manitowoc has received nearly four feet of snow but other locations including Sturgeon Bay and Wausau have recorded more than six feet of the white stuff. He says the solid snowpack and entrenched cold air make the perfect ingredients for several more weeks of winter.
Trambley adds that it’ll take a while for the snow to melt.
And the weather expert reminds everyone that Spring begins March 21st so if you can “enjoy winter while it’s here as warmer weather will eventually arrive.”
