Sheboygan Man Arrested After Physical Altercation with his Family

A Sheboygan man faces felony charges after a physical altercation in his home on Bluff Avenue over the weekend. 46-year-old Jose Ragel had gotten into a fight with his wife over an alleged affair on Sunday morning. Rangel was reportedly strangling his wife when their 16-year-old son entered the room in an attempt to break up the fight. Rangel then allegedly chased his son upstairs and attempted to choke him. Their 11-year-old son was successfully able to contact the police, all while trying to get his father to stop hurting his family. Rangel was arrested and charged with five felony charges and could spend as many as 30 years in prison.
