There are lots of good things going on at the Two River School District. Superintendent Lisa Quistorff was on the WCUB Breakfast Club yesterday, and she told us all about what happened at the School Board meeting that took place on Monday. The meeting started off with members of the High School Student Government talking about some upcoming events at the school.
The drive corresponds with the recent news that the Red Cross is in desperate need of all types of blood. After more fun with a group of students showing off a robot, it was time to get down to business. The board went through the mid-year budget revisions. Mary Kay Slattery explained why they do this every year.
Slattery went on to tell us what kind of things were covered in the revision talks.
It is also very exciting times in the sports world for Two Rivers High School, as Cody Holmes, as well as Matt and Joey Bianki all brought home state gold in Wrestling.
The next School Board meeting will be on March 11th, the first day of spring break.
