An apartment fire in Sheboygan last night has left three people without a place to stay. The fire was reported at around 10:30 PM, with the caller stating that it was taking place on Water Street. The caller was actually trapped in the building on the second floor, so when the Sheboygan Fire Department arrived at the scene, the focus their efforts on rescuing the individual. Their attempts were successful, and the unnamed person was transported to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. The second floor apartment sustained substantial damage, with a cause yet to be determined. The American Red Cross is assisting the residents that were displaced.
