The Manitowoc County Historical Society will celebrate Wisconsin’s Supper Club traditions throughout the month of March in partnership with local restaurants.
Wisconsin has a great tradition of Friday Fish Fries, Saturday Prime Rib, and Sunday Chicken specials—and we can’t forget about an old fashioned. Throughout our area’s history, there have been places that our families have gathered to celebrate special moments and to enjoy the evening. In celebration of local food traditions, the Manitowoc County Historical Society has partnered with the following local dining establishments to share their history and celebrate their supper club style roots. Throughout the month of March, visit the partnering restaurants to discover their story, take home a written history, and support the ongoing mission of our Manitowoc County Historical Society.
Partnering restaurants include:
· Gill’s Bar and Grill—231 E Menasha Avenue, Whitelaw
· Good Times Restaurant & Banquet—16607 County Rd B, Mishicot
· Machut’s Supper Club—3911 Lincoln Avenue, Two Rivers
· Silver Valley Banquet Hall—1222 S Alverno Rd, Manitowoc
More information about Supper Club month, and other dine fundraisers to support local history, can be found on the museum’s website at ManitowocCountyHistory.org/dine.
