A witness says a 36-year-old Oconto Falls woman hit her husband with a vehicle Christmas Eve as they were on their way to a family get together. Not guilty pleas have been entered in Oconto County Circuit Court on behalf of Sarah Colson to several charges, including first-degree recklessly endangering safety. During the argument the husband exited the vehicle in order to walk home, he made it about 10 – 15 yards when a witness inside the vehicle said Colson hit the accelerator and swerved to hit him. After seeing the husband go flying through the air and landing in a ditch, the witness got out to check on the victim and flagged down another vehicle to call 911. Colson drove away. The victim suffered bruises to the head, stomach, upper back and right knee. After tracking her down, police say Colson resisted arrest as they were putting her in handcuffs.
