
More details have been released in the case of the dogs living in deplorable conditions in Brown County. Two Children and 31 dogs were found living in the sub-par conditions in the eastern Brown County Town of Eaton. Police went to the home in the 5600 block of Skaleski Road after a family member went to pick up a 12-year-old girl for school, and was bitten by one of the canines. It was at that time officers noticed the awful conditions the animals and children were forced to endure, and 36-year-old Lisa Marie Kraszewski was subsequently arrested. A visual scan of the property uncovered at least seven frozen, snow-covered cows and sheep which had been dead for quite some time. 29 dogs were found inside, without any food or water, and two dogs were outside without food, and their water was frozen. The dogs, and girls aged 12 and 7 were taken from the property. The sheriff’s department has asked the Brown County District Attorney’s office for seven counts of cruelty to animals, two counts of child neglect, 31 counts for failing to supply adequate food and water to the dogs, and resisting arrest.
