A potentially serious situation was averted for a Manitowoc police officer on the day-shift yesterday morning. Chief Nick Reimer tells Seehafer News that in reviewing items in the daily briefing, he came upon the report of a mother’s call from a local daycare parking lot around 8:30 am.
The responding officer, Jeff Buck, noted that the dog was “jumping around in the car and must’ve hit the unlock button.”
