Appleton Police Investigating Suspicious Death

The Appleton Police Department is looking into a death they call suspicious. Officers performed a welfare check on a woman yesterday afternoon, but were unable to locate her, until early this morning, when they found her body inside a home on Valley Road at around 1:20 AM.  The investigation is still in the preliminary stages, and her cause of death is not known at this time. Appleton Police are saying that it appears to be an isolated incident, and that the public is not believed to be in any danger.
