The WIAA has announced its’ 5 division pairings for the Boys High School Basketball Tournament. In the large school bracket: Manitowoc Lincoln drew the #17 seed in its’ 18 school Sectional bracket and the Ships travel to Sheboygan South on Tuesday, February 26th. The winner of that play-in game will travel to top-ranked & #1 seed Sussex Hamilton.
In Division-3: Two Rivers is seeded 11th & the Raiders visit #6 Kewaunee next Tuesday. A win sends the Raiders to #3 Sheboygan Falls. Valders has a 4 seed and the Vikings will host the winner of #5 Chilton & Saint Lawrence Seminary. Kiel drew the ‘9’ seed & the Raiders make the short trek to New Holstein. The victor goes to #1 Southern Door. Denmark is a 2 seed and the Vikings host either #7 Sturgeon Bay or Cedar Grove-Belgium. 7th seeded Brillion hosts Oconto Falls with the winner to travel to #2 Xavier.
In Division-4: Roncalli earned the #1 seed and following a first round bye, the Jets will host either #8 Manitowoc Lutheran or #9 Ozaukee. Also, 7 seed Reedsville is home for Mishicot next Tuesday with the winner advancing to play 2 seed, Howards Grove.
In Division-5: #1 Sheboygan Area Lutheran hosts #16..Eastbrook Academy/Chesterton and, Hilbert with the 3 seed is home for Valley Christian. All opening night games on February 26th start at 7:00.
