Heroin Ringleader Sentenced To 30 Years In Prison

A 48-year–old man sentenced to 30 years in prison is accused of running a million-dollar heroin operation for more than a year.  Allen Ferguson could have received more than 100 years.  Ferguson told the authorities who caught him he first came to Fond du Lac to help sell heroin.  Over time, he assumed control of the operation, making two or three trips to Chicago each month.  The scheme unraveled during a traffic stop in August 2016 when Fond du Lac County deputies seized more than 130 grams of heroin.
