The 38-year-old Appleton woman who was accused of causing the death of her 13-year-old daughter was found guilty in Outagamie County Court yesterday. Nicole L. Gussert was convicted of neglecting a child causing death and possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, while two charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine were dismissed and read in, meaning they can be considered at sentencing. Brianna Gussert was found dead back in 2017 after she was left alone in her bedroom for days without any food or water. Brianna completely relied on others for care due to her disabilities.
