People from all over Milwaukee have stepped forward to support the police department and honor fallen, Officer Matthew Rittner. He was shot to death while serving a search warrant last week. Wednesday’s procession started at Oak Creek Assembly of God church, passed by the M-P-D Tactical Enforcement Unit headquarters where he worked and ended at Krause Funeral Home. The man accused of killing Rittner is charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
