Accused Kidnapper Pleads Not Guilty In Waupaca County Circuit Court

A man accused of holding a 15-year-old girl hostage for more than a week has entered a not guilty plea to 12 charges, including kidnapping.  Elijah Kerrigan made an appearance in Waupaca County Circuit Court Tuesday.  Kerrigan is accused of texting the girl’s mother, demanding 25-hundred dollars for her return.  When police arrested Kerrigan at a motel, the girl was found hiding under a bed.  The teen says she ran away from home December 30th and she told the investigators she and Kerrigan did drugs and had sex.
