Bail is set at $2000 recognizance bond for a 17-year-old Manitowoc Lincoln High School student facing charges after a handgun was found in his vehicle. Drew Peterman is charged with Possession of a Firearm on school grounds and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Officers and K-9 units were sent to Lincoln High School yesterday (Monday) to perform a random search when both K-9 Officers (Major and Niko) made a positive hit on a vehicle in the student parking lot. A consented search led to the discovery of an unloaded handgun in the glove box next to a loaded magazine and several baggies with a small amount of marijuana. Conditions of bail are that Peterman is not to possess a firearm—have no contact with Lincoln High School or any other school premises unless it’s allowed by the District and maintain absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol. His initial appearance is scheduled for March 11th at 1:30.
