A section of I-41 was closed last night near Oshkosh due to a two semi accident. Wisconsin State Patrol reports that one semi was traveling south on the Interstate south of Highway 21 just before 7:00 PM, when it jack-knifed, and struck the median. A second semi struck the first, because the first did not have any lights on, causing the first semi’s trailer to start on fire. Both drivers were able to escape their cabs with one of them sustaining non-life threatening injuries. The fire did not spread from the empty first semi to the second unit, which was carrying paper products. The incident closed the Interstate for around and hour and a half, and the investigation remains ongoing.
