Sheboygan Man Nearly Hits Police Officers with Car

A Sheboygan man reportedly nearly struck some police officers with his car last week while driving under the influence. According to court documents, three officers were walking along the side of a road and noticed that a vehicle began to speed up toward them. The man, identified as 50-year-old Kenny Betts, missed the officers,  and when officers arrested him, found he had a blood-alcohol level above his legal limit. Due to his four prior drunk driving offenses, his limit was listed as .02. Betts had a court hearing yesterday, no word as to the results of it as of yet.
