A 40 year old De Pere man has been arrested for allegedly repeatedly sexually assaulting two young girls. Marc Hoppe has been charged with two counts of repeated sexual assault of a child and two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16. The investigation into the case began back in January when detectives with the Green Bay Police Department spoke with the girls, aged 15 and 11, and their parents. Both of the girls claim that the abuse has been going on for years with the15 year old saying it started when she was in third or fourth grade. The 15 year old also stated that she followed Hoppe’s orders because she was afraid that he would do the same to her little sister. Hoppe is being held in the Brown County Jail, but the charges have not yet been formally filed by the District Attorney’s Office.
