The New England Patriots not only have collected their sixth super bowl victory in the Bill Belichick/ Tom Brady Era, but made history in the process by doing it in the lowest scoring championship game in its 53 year long history. Both teams combined for 707 yards en route to the 13-3 final score, with the Pats scoring 10 of them in the 4th quarter. Neither Brady or Rams QB Jared Goff threw for over 275 yards, and both were intercepted once, with Brady’s pic coming on his first throw of the game. Julian Edelman had a big game for New England, catching 10 passes for 141 yards. The lone touchdown came from New England’s Sony Michel, who rushed for a total of 94 yards on 18 carries.
