The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has received another temporary extension for their SeniorCare Program from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This is the second extension DHS has received in 2019 for the SeniorCare waiver, which expired at the end of 2018. This 60-day temporary extension allows the program to continue until March 31 as CMS finalizes its review of the application for a long-term extension. Reviews of applications have been delayed due to the 35-day federal government shutdown.
