Public health managers in Milwaukee are warning students at Marquette University to wash their hands and take note of which classmates are sick. The Milwaukee Health Department yesterday confirmed a case of mumps on campus. Mumps cases are not uncommon on college campuses, but can quickly become an outbreak because of the tight quarters. All Marquette students are supposed to be vaccinated against the mumps.
