On the final day of sub-arctic temperatures, a water main burst at Heather Valley Estates in Sheboygan. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department were informed of the breakage at around 6:00 AM, and when they arrived found water emitting from the sprinkler heads, and flowing into the basement of the building. Crews are not sure if the cold played a factor in the break, but called the Red Cross to assist. They are aiding around two dozen families that have been displaced due to the incident.
