Foxconn officials confirmed today (Friday) that plans to build a ten-billion-dollar L-C-D manufacturing plant in southeastern Wisconsin are moving forward. The company said it had productive talks with the White House and conservation with President Trump that Chairman Terry Gou says put the project back on track. There was word Thursday that the Taiwanese company was changing its proposal to create 13-thousand manufacturing jobs in the state and would instead focus of research and engineering. Governor Tony Evers says he’s comfortable that Foxconn remains committed to Wisconsin, but said they should be more transparent.
