The Walworth County D-A says a sheriff’s deputy who shot and killed an Elkhorn man in October was justified in using deadly force. District Attorney Zeke Wiedenfield said Deputy Peter Wisnefsky was exercising self-defense in the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Sean Dutcher. Officers stopped Dutcher’s S-U-V October 18th when Deputy Wisnefsky got out of his squad car, Dutcher drove at him. That’s when Wisnefsky shot Dutcher who crashed his vehicle and died at the scene.
