Many in Chilton Have Power Restored

There was a power outage in Chilton early this morning. It’s being reported that more than 6,000 customers were affected by the outage, which was first reported at around 4:30 AM. The issue was fixed just before 7:00 AM, but the actual cause has not been determined.  Outages have now been reported further west, in the Ripon and Green Lake. Those outages have affected another 4,000 customers. Power is expected to be restored by sometime in the 9:00 hour.
