Manitowoc Ties Record For Coldest High Temperature

The National Weather Service says that Manitowoc tied a record yesterday for the coldest high temperature on record. Yesterday’s high of -12 equals that of the reading set back on January 30^th, 1899.  Also setting records were Appleton (-10) Oshkosh (-11) and Green Bay.  Meanwhile—Appleton temperature of -26 this morning replaces their previously recorded low temperature of -22 set back on January 31^st, 1996.
