The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the death of a 27-year-old homeless man was caused by environmental hypothermia. Maxwell Robert Beyer’s body was discovered partially immersed on a pond near Froedtert Hospital last month. There was ice on the pond and the temperature was in the low-30s with wet snow falling when the discovery was made. No foul play is suspected in his death.
