Waupaca Co. Man Accused Of Killing Dog

A Waupaca County man is out on bond and facing a felony charge of mistreatment of animals. Jeffrey Buttles was in a Waupaca County court today facing allegations that he killed a Great Dane named Gypsy. Police followed a trail of blood to find him. Buttles allegedly told them that he shot a coyote, but then admitted it was the dog. Buttles says the dog was often on his property barking and growling at him.
