With the majority of the snowfall coming to an end, those who run the snowplows have had some time to clean up the roads and highways. Manitowoc County Highway Commissioner Marc Holsen told Seehafer News that the highways are all cleared and widened thanks to the hard work that his crews did during the overnight and early morning hours. He said that “some roads will still have snow cover and ice on them due to the cold temps” but they are in fair to good condition. He also advised that all motorists should still “drive with caution as drifting, blowing snow, and icing spots will continue to stick with us.”
