Chippewa Falls Man Facing Possible 72-Year Prison Sentence

If a Chippewa Falls man is found guilty on all charges, he could spend up to 72 years in prison.  Craig Belden is scheduled to return to Chippewa County Circuit Court next week.  He is charged with three felony counts, including sexual assault of a child under the age of 13 and child abuse.  An 11-year-old girl told investigators Belden assaulted her twice — once in a church parking lot and a second time in the parking lot of a dog park.
