The Village of Howard has approved a million-dollar agreement with the state to connect a local trail to the Fox River Trail in Green Bay. Local officials in Howard say the multi-use recreational trail will be made of asphalt so it can be used by bicycles, pedestrians and others. Almost 530-thousand dollars will be invested through the state’s Transportation Alternatives Project, with the village putting up 472-thousand. Construction should start by 2021 or 2022.
