
Miss Green Bay Area 2019 & Miss Green Bay Area’s Outstanding Teen 2019 have been crowned. Appleton native Kaylee Vermeern was the recipient of the Miss Green Bay Area crown. The UW Green Bay student performed a lyrical dance entitled “Silence”, while championing for the Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation. Elizabeth Black meanwhile was named Miss Green Bay Area’s Outstanding Teen. The Freedom teen, who was on the platform for Girls on the Run, played Melody Bober’s “Swingin the Blues” on the piano. As Miss Green Bay Area, Vermeern receives a prize package valued at over $4,000 including a $1,000 cash scholarship and the opportunity to compete for the Miss Wisconsin title in Oshkosh on June 15, while Black receives a prize package valued at over $1500 including the paid trip to and the opportunity to compete for Miss Wisconsin’s Outstanding Teen 2019.
