A home in Suamico, just north of Green Bay was completely destroyed after it caught fire yesterday afternoon. The Suamico Fire Department was informed of the blaze when a neighbor, who was walking her dog, noticed smoke coming from the home. Crews did their best to save the home, but Fire Chief Troy Noe explained that the whole house was engulfed by the time they arrived. No one was home at the time, and all firefighters escaped without injury. Crews from Suamico, Pulaski, Howard and Green bay were on the scene, which required water trucks due to the lack of fire hydrants. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
