The Manitowoc Area Provider Network is putting on a free event at the Two Rivers Lester Public Library in May and September. The 5 session event will help adults navigate through their senior years by preparing them for what’s to come. Speakers include:
Aging and Disability Resource Center
County Veterans Service Officer
Funeral Home Planners
Medicare vs. Medicaid
Physical Therapy
Assisted Living communities
Skilled Nursing communities
Hospice
There are 40 spots available for the event and RSVP is required. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions and can have questions answered about Medicare, funeral prep, Power of Attorney, assisted living or nursing homes, hospice care and more. The free event takes place on May 10, 17 and 24 as well as September 20 and 27 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Lester Public Library.
