The Two Rivers Police responded to the 1100 block of Madison Street at around 3:00 this morning, when it was reported that a man had shot one of his relatives, and he was suicidal. Officers made contact with the unnamed 40 year old man, who was cooperative. After an investigation, it was determined that the call was incorrect. No one was injured, and the man in question was not suicidal. An investigation has been launched to uncover who made the initial call. Roads in the area were closed down for around 3 hours while the investigation was ongoing. The Two Rivers Police were aided on the scene by the Manitowoc Police Department, Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department, their SOS Team, and the State Patrol.
