State Supreme Court Agrees To Take Up Suits Over Natural Resources

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has agreed to take up two cases focused on who controls the state’s natural resources.  At question is the balance of power between state regulators and state lawmakers.  Conservation interests want the D-N-R to retain the power to protect public water rights and enforce clean water standards.  Business groups want that power in the hands of elected politicians.
