Students at James E. Dottke High School in West Allis were put on what is called a “classroom hold” Thursday morning when two students were involved in a shooting. No names have been released. The school district and West Allis police are conducting parallel investigations. One student was taken to Aurora West Allis Medical Center shortly before 10:00 A-M for treatment of a gunshot wound. He is expected to survive.
